Break the Bias: Insights and Experiences in achieving a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive world
About this event
International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated globally on March 8 is a global initiative that celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
IWD2022 global theme is, “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, recognizing the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and response, to build a more sustainable future for all. The global campaign is #BreaktheBias.
It has been documented that only 2% of our biases come from our conscious state of being. That implies 98% of our biases are coming from our unconscious state.
Studies further show that the global pandemic has had a disproportionately negative impact on women, in work and in life. These biases are taking a toll on women and when women suffer, societies suffer.
This special International Women’s Day episode will be an engaging conversation, as we dive deeper into the individual lives and stories of the Global Advisors of the Women in Finance & Investment Network (WIFIN).
This episode will feature Katrina Dudley, Winnie Khattar, Ines de Dinechin, Rebecca Sin and Hangwi Manavhela.
These remarkable women are known for their exceptional tenacity and professionalism, as well as are champions for collective change to empower the voices of women globally in the Finance & Investment Management Industry.
Their experience in the industry has shaped them into becoming Impact Makers and Bias Breakers when it comes to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Join us for this inclusive conversation as we speak up and shake up the Status Quo, Together!
