Join us for SAMBA WEDNESDAY, a high-energy open-level class focused on the Passista style of Brazilian Samba. Improvers to Advanced dancers are especially welcome!
💃 Class Format:
- 10–15 minutes of Samba no Pé technique & transition steps
- Followed by a dynamic Samba sequence featuring:
- MUSICALITY OF SAMBA
- Floreios
- Transitions & breaks
- Turns, rebolados, contra-tempo, and samba walks
🎭 This class is perfect for dancers interested in Brazilian Samba performance, including show-style and Passista techniques.
👟 What to bring:
- Comfortable workout clothing
- Water & towel
- Jazz trainers, dance shoes, or socks
- Advanced dancers: High heels are highly recommended (but not compulsory)
- Improvers/Intermediate dancers: Trainers, jazz shoes, or socks only
