Volunteer with KTBB — Brandon Parade of Lights Cleanup Crew
Join KTBB for a meaningful night of community service and holiday spirit at the Brandon Parade of Lights! We’re recruiting volunteers to walk behind the parade with our banner and truck to help collect trash and debris left behind — making sure our community stays clean and roads reopen smoothly.
🕓 Check-In & Pick-Up Details
- Volunteer check-in: 4:30 PM at the parade Staging Area on South Lakewood Drive / Oakfield Drive.
- Parking: Park at All Persons Rotary Park (800 S Parsons Ave, Brandon, FL 33511), or use any available business parking along the parade route.

🚧 Important Road Closure Info
Road closures along the parade route begin at 3:00 PM, with final closures concluding around 4:30 PM. It’s very important that volunteers arrive promptly at 4:30 PM to ensure a smooth check-in, shuttle, and staging process.
🎄 Parade & Cleanup Plan
- The parade begins at 5:30 PM, traveling east on Oakfield Drive from South Lakewood Drive, crossing Kings Avenue, and ending at Oakfield & Vonderburg Drive.
- KTBB will be the last vehicle in the parade, immediately following Santa’s float.
- As the parade progresses and participants leave the route, volunteers will follow behind with the banner and truck to pick up litter and help clear the streets while the roads are still closed. With law enforcement (HCSO) holding the road closure until we finish, we’ll need to work diligently and efficiently to get the cleanup done before roads reopen.
Why Volunteer?
This is a great opportunity to support a beloved community event, help keep Brandon clean and safe, and spread holiday cheer in a hands-on way. Plus, it’s a fun, team-oriented activity — perfect for community-minded folks who want to give back.
