"Brainy Blockcoders & Biochemists: Careers of Technology and Research" is the 2nd of three in-person career camp opportunities offered by North Star Learning. Your student can choose to attend any/all of the three camp offerings.
This camp presents a unique opportunity for adolescents to explore careers in the core fields of Information Technology, STEM, higher education and private research pathways. Students will gain real-world insight about the hard and soft skills needed for success in the world of work. This four-hour career camp includes three hours of innovative career-specific learning tasks, partnered with one hour of a highly engaging, collaborative team building experience (soft skill development) using video games like Minecraft or Rocket League (led by the amazing team at XP League Asheville).
