Brains, bots, and bricks: How to use AI to supercharge your creativity

By International Association of Business Communicators (EMENA Region)

Overview

A fun LEGO® Serious Play® workshop for curious thinkers to explore how AI can boost creativity, problem-solving, and impact.

AI is changing how we work, connect, and communicate: faster content, smarter data, automated everything. But amid the hype, one thing hasn’t changed: no matter how clever the tech, impact still comes down to human creativity and connection.

So where should AI take the lead, and where do humans shine?

How can we partner with AI to amplify our creative superpowers, not replace them?

This hands-on LEGO Serious Play workshop gives communicators, AI strategists, and curious minds a creative, fun space to explore these questions.

Using LEGO bricks as a thinking tool, you’ll turn abstract ideas into tangible models you can hold in your hands. The process is designed to spark new ideas, encourage conversation, and help you see your work (and the future) in unexpected ways.

Why you’ll love this workshop:

· Find out which skills make you stand out (and how to turn AI into your creative partner)

· Use LEGO bricks to bring your ideas to life

· Walk away with practical, ready-to-go ideas you can drop straight into your next project or campaign

· Share stories, connect, and see how others are using AI to work smarter and stay creative

· Have fun while you’re at it: this is a no-jargon, creativity-first session that shows AI sessions don’t have to be dry panels or beige slide decks.

How it works

LEGO bricks are your thinking tools. You’ll use them to explore how humans and AI can team up, spark fresh ideas, and tackle communication challenges.

Here’s what to expect:

1. Build individually. Use LEGO bricks to show something real: a workflow that needs fixing, a team challenge, or a superpower you bring to work. No LEGO skills? No problem. Curiosity is all you need.

2. Share and reflect. Show your model, tell its story, and see how others interpret it. You’ll spot new angles, uncover opportunities, and get ideas you can use on Monday morning.

3. Build together. Team up in small groups to (re)mix your models. Explore how humans and AI can work smarter together, find patterns, and create solutions that are bigger (and more creative) than the sum of their bricks.

4. Take it back to work. Walk away with clear insights and practical strategies you can plug straight into your team, projects, or next big idea.
