Braiding Pop-Up

* We are offering 2 services Feed-In’s (French Braids) and Box Braids every Saturdays in October! Water and light refreshments will be served during service.

Braid services are offered to any person men, women, and children, with at least 3-4inches of hair or longer. All hair must be cleaned free of products and blow dried straight if you are sick.

For braid extensions clients must bring their own packs of pre stretched hair. Expressions or Rastifari is preferred, hair can be purchased directly across the street from “the workshop” at J&J Beauty Supply 3242 Grand Ave Oakland Ca 94610, for those who need assistance in what hair to purchase for extensions please arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment to have one of our staff assist you at the beauty supply with making the proper selection for your service

• Length of Service : 45 min -1hour
• 1 pack of hair required for extensions

4 Feed In’s (French Braids) | $100.00

• Length of Service: 1hour - 1 1/2 hour
• 2 packs of hair required for extensions

6 Feed In’s ( French Braids) | $120.00

• Length of Service: 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours
• 2 packs of hair required for extensions

8 Feed In’s ( French Braids) | $140.00

• Length of Service: 2 1/2 - 3 hours
• 2-3 packs of hair required for extensions

10 Feed In’s ( French Braids) | $180.00

• Length of Service: 2 1/2 -4 hours
• 2-3 packs of hair required for extensions

Large Box Braids | $150.00

• Length of Service: 2-4 hours
• 2-3 packs of hair required for extensions

Medium Box Braids $200

• Length of Service: 3-6 hours
• 2-3 packs of hair required for extensions

Important Information

• Please do not book if you are sick for the safety of our Braiders and staff, if you arrive sick your appointment will be cancelled and you will be asked to reschedule at a later date.
• Our stylists may use a variety of hair care products (including gels, oils, sprays, and accessories). If you have any known allergies or sensitivities to these types of products, please notify us in advance by replying to this email or informing your stylist at check-in.
• By attending this event, you agree that urban university and its stylists are not liable for any allergic reactions or other adverse effects related to product use. If you’re unsure about specific ingredients, we encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider prior to the event.
