BP Placement Information Session
Overview
Are you a counselling or psychotherapy Black or Global Majority trainee seeking a placement that centres decolonial perspectives on mental health, community care, and social justice?
Our virtual information session will introduce you to who we are and who we work with, our values and ethos, our specialisms and how we support trainee therapists in developing an intersectional, anti-oppressive and culturally attuned practice. We will cover the practicalities of our placement, which include supervision, training and the application process, and how we build a supportive team culture to tackle systemic oppression. We will also share our trainee feedback and the learning opportunities that we have available within the service and externally.
You're welcome to ask questions and share your thoughts, and we look forward to spending a generative 90 minutes together.
See you soon,
Black Psychotherapy Team
