Unleash your creativity and learn to craft stunning, unique containers for gifts, gatherings or your own personal collections. In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover the art of transforming flat paper into beautiful mini boxes, pockets and pouches of various shapes.
Going beyond standard crafting, we will experiment with new ways to use commercial decorative papers, plus hand-painted and printed collage papers that you can create yourself. This process-oriented class is for all skill levels and encourages experimentation with colors, patterns and shapes to create personalized paper art.
I will share samples, demonstrate the process, answer questions and work with artists individually during the workshop. You'll leave with a collection of unique, handmade paper containers and the skills to continue crafting your own creative paper projects.
A class summary will also be provided afterwards.
All materials provided however you are welcome to bring any papers you'd like to experiment with. Artists of all levels are welcome. Dress for mess!
