Description

Overwhelmed and feeling burned out? Sick of the advice that you need to increase self-care? When you are over-done and over-worked, there simply isn't the energy to do anything else.

I believe addressing burnout requires more than better coping- it requires DOING LESS of the things that zap our energy and MORE of the things that matter most. Competent, compassionate people easily over-do and over-function.

The truth is that you cannot do it all. Trying to do so is sucking you dry and diminishing your ability to contribute your best skills and energy to your work.

It's time to change how we think about burnout.

Join me for an evening of learning concrete action steps you can take to preserve your energy. This 3 hour workshop will teach how to create and communicate the boundaries that will restore your passion for the work you love.

This workshop is right for you if:

  • You are ready to put yourself on the priority list and off the back burner.
  • You know you need boundaries but aren't sure where, when, or how to create them.
  • You need a kick in the butt to actually look at what you need to make work work again.
  • You want a roadmap away from burnout and into more energy.
  • You need the words to say to create and maintain boundaries.

This dynamic and interactive workshop will give you the tools and motivation to stop living exhausted and move into an energized life. You will leave with:

  • Clarity on how boundaries are an essential part of well-being.
  • Confidence about how to create boundaries that increase the quality of your life AND your work.
  • Personalized, clearly defined boundaries to do your best work.
  • The words to say to maintain these clear boundaries.
  • An action plan to create the time, intention, and support you need to keep these boundaries long-term.

Facilitated by me, Hannah Curtis, LCSW, owner of New Approaches, a practice focused on workshops, counseling and consultations for motivated people who want to proactively improve their emotional health and strengthen their relationships. I get fired up the most by helping the helpers- the capable, kind people who give their all each day. I believe supporting these awesomely giving people with the tools and language to speak up and stand up will change the world.
