Everyone starts somewhere, and our beginner tango lessons are the perfect way to get into this exciting dance. Showing up is the hardest part.

Argentine Tango is considered the most passionate and addictive dance. The dance reflects life so closely that it makes you wonder how this is even possible.

Partner is NOT required.

Once you enter the world of tango, it changes you forever. It will also empower you with the ability to dance and make friends anywhere in the world as you master your Tango language.

Space is limited, so please do register early.

6 2-hour Beginner Tango Classes
Sundays, 2:30 - 4:30pm

  • A drop-in class is $40.
  • The 6 2-hour classes course is $199.

Each person must register individually.

That's OK. We will take care of you. Just make sure you bring a change of shoes (dress shoes OK) as we do not allow street shoes on the floor.

Welcome to Ultimate Tango! Learn Argentine Tango as a Philosophy of Life

Here you will find all you need to become a true member of the Tango community. We focus on developing in you the true understanding of what Tango is. Tango is not just a dance. It’s philosophy, the way of comprehending the world, the way of building relationships, the way to understand yourself.Here at Ultimate Tango, we teach you the tango alphabet, we teach you how to create words, we teach you basic rules, basic steps, basic combinations. We teach you all you need to know about music, connection, lead and follow, types of tangos, and more. From there you can launch onto your own journey to discover what Tango means for you. We don’t want to limit you with a multitude of steps and clatter your memory with combinations you can never remember. Our goal is to give you a true understanding of Tango structure and music, mechanics of the movement, technique, and cadence. From there you can start improvising on your own. Find your own style.

We offer carefully structured courses at 5 different levels – beginner, pre-intermediate, intermediate, re-advanced, advanced to students from Greater Boston Area and New England. We also offer workshops to address more specialized topics. Private lessons are available for those who wish to progress at their own pace.

For those who are too far away from us, we offer a huge variety of online courses on-demand, as well as private lessons through Zoom.
