Event description
Exploring the challenges that SMEs and landlords have in accessing energy efficiency measures and funding.

About this Event

Hoare Lea is leading a research consortium as part of a Government-funded project looking at ways of increasing investment in energy efficiency by SMEs.

We are exploring the challenges SMEs and landlords have in accessing energy efficiency measures and financing solutions to address this.

We would like to invite you to a stakeholder workshop to help gather feedback on the concepts we are developing and feed into the broader conversation about business energy efficiency with the UK Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

The workshop will take place on Friday 15 November 2019 from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Lunch will be included.

The workshop will be held at the Engine Shed, Station Approach, Temple Meads, Bristol, BS1 6QH.

The workshop is designed to bring together representative SMEs, property owners, funders and investors and the energy efficiency supply chain. It will be a great chance to think about this issue in the round and to understand the different drivers and pressures that influence energy efficiency action in the commercial property sector.

You can register to attend the workshop using the green Register button towards the top of this page.

The project research team comprises Hoare Lea, City Science, Hildebrand and SE2 Ltd. If you would like further information about the BEIS research project or the concepts we are developing, please contact Liz Warren, Director, SE2 on liz.warren@se-2.co.uk.
