Are you for a break from adulting? Join us for this open mic style, children's book read aloud...for grown ups! Grab a brew and a book!

Join us for Book and Brews, an open-mic style event where adults take the stage at a local breweries to read classic (and new) children’s books aloud—dramatic voices, unexpected humor (or feels), and a bit of nostalgia are welcome!


Whether you’re reading or just listening, grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy an evening of literary fun, where beloved kids’ books take on a whole new meaning.

This event is FREE to attend however guests will be invited to make a suggested donation of $10 at each event. ALL proceeds are donated to two local, non-profit organizations, Our Community Reads (ourcommunityreads.com) and Black Men Read (bmrkids.org).who share a common mission of using reading and the power of storytelling to transform the lives of children and families in our community.
