Book Swap & Sip with Locust Cider X Lost The Plot
Join us for a fun summer afternoon of swapping books and sipping on delicious ciders at Locust Cider taproom in downtown Seattle (Post Alley)!
It’s the perfect excuse to hang out with friends, enjoy the summer weather, meet fellow book lovers, and get some new books for your TBR.
Bring 1-3 gently pre-loved books to swap with fellow book lovers, and get some new books to fill your shelves!
How it Works:
Our book swaps are all about the cozy, casual vibes. They're designed to feel like a social event where you just happen to be surrounded by books. Here's how it works:
- Bring 1-3 books you've already read (or ones you're ready to clear off your shelves). This event is not genre-specific, and any books are open. The only requirement is to please ensure they are in good condition; something you wouldn't mind lending a friend!
- When you arrive, drop your books off at the book swap table (there will be signage!), then hang out, grab a drink from our host venue, and start browsing books you'd like to take home.
- Please only take as many books as you brought in to keep it fair. In the last hour of the event, we will open it up to take as many of the remainder books as you'd like. Any books left over after the event get distributed to little free libraries around the city.
- Throughout the event, you can also shop our curated book collections and add new reads to your TBR! Get 10% off your purchase from Lost The Plot by showing proof of purchase from our host venue. Purchase from LTP and our host venue is not required, but helps keep these (and other) events going!
Please note: The event is from 4:30-7:30, but Locust Cider is open from 11am-8pm. If you'd like to hang out before/after the event, you are more than welcome to, but we'll be picking up the pop-up and book swap table at 7:30, so make sure you get your books before then!
