Book of Life Workshop
Overview
Archivist Tamika Strong will share useful tools for compiling and writing your own family or community history. Associated with the hit PBS series “Finding Your Roots” hosted by Henry Louis Gates Jr., the Book of Life is a custom-made, handcrafted scrapbook filled with details of ancestral history.
Create your very own visual representation of your genealogy research and take home a tangible keepsake!
We will supply the scrapbook materials; you bring the photos, the family tree chart and/or any other memorabilia to affix to your scrapbook.
