I’m excited to invite you to an evening where I’ll share the story behind my coming of age memoir, Beyond the Unseen فراتر از ناپیدا. This book, written in Farsi, follows the journey of a young woman from Tehran who sets out to visit Rumi’s tomb in Konya. What begins as a pilgrimage soon transforms into a life changing adventure across South America; through the Andes, the Amazon, and all over LatinAmerica; ultimately leading her to Mexico.
It’s a story of transformation, inner freedom, and finding home in unexpected places.
At the event, I’ll talk about the inspiration behind the book, read selected passages in Farsi, and open the floor for a Q&A session where we can dive deeper into the themes of travel, self-discovery, and storytelling.
