Novelist Lee Clay Johnson, author of Nitro Mountain and director of the Writers Foundry MFA program at St. Joseph's University, presents Bloodline, the first fiction title from new publishing venture County Highway. When Winston Alcorn, freshly unemployed in Kentucky, hauls his wife and two young sons deep into Tennessee, he sets off a generational saga of mendacious transformations... Mesmerizing and darkly comic, Bloodline is an exploration of masculinity run amuck, of femininity’s strength and resolve, of the burdens of heritage and history. Andrew Martin, author of Early Work, joins Johnson for a discussion on the book before an audience Q&A and signing.
