What are the tiers? GA, GA+, and Silent Observer?

Accepted Answer

GA Bargain = you get all the basics for the workshop listed above with 2 plastic bonsai pots (one for your plant and one for propagation) . GA Ceramic = you get all of GA with a ceramic bonsai pot from Ancient Art Bonsai. Silent observers are welcome to come learn and I will email you with resources

What drinks does Nocterra Brewing Co specialize in? What can my drink ticket cover?

Accepted Answer

Nocterra Brewing Co has a wide variety of beers specializing in IPAs and Lagers, They also have have a few sours, stouts, canned wines, and a hard seltzer for the gluten free folks. Your drink ticket will cover your first drink that is $9 or less. Cocktails and are also available but not included.

Is there an age restriction on this event?

Accepted Answer

This event is open to all ages as long as you would trust them with scissors and if they are accompanied and supervised! Nocterra Brewing Co. is a family-friendly bar.

What is the Columbus Bonsai Society (CBS) membership?

Accepted Answer

CBS is another local nonprofit dedicated to teaching, sharing, and community surrounding the art of bonsai in Columbus. For over 50 years we have hosted monthly educational bonsai workshops, lectures, sales, and an annual show. Membership to CBS is also donated to our workshop participants.

What is the Central Ohio Cactus and Succulent Society (COCSS) membership?

Accepted Answer

COCSS is a local nonprofit dedicated to people who enjoy cacti and succulents! Some species we will have available in this workshop to use for bonsai are succulents, hence they are another great resource with their monthly events and annual show! Membership to COCSS is donated to our participants.

What is the total price? Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

The Eventbrite fee is absorbed into the sticker price, so the listed price is the only total price. There are no hidden fees!

Question 8

When does the early bird discount end? Does it apply for all ticket options and add-ons?

Accepted Answer

The early bird discount is automatically applied at checkout until 12/31 at 11:59 pm. It applies to any ticket tier and the optional bonsai pruning shear add-ons.

Question 9

What is the refund and cancelation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancelling before the event... 14+ days=full refund, <14 days = 50%  refund. The issue with late cancellation is taking up a spot someone else could have occupied. Contact invivobonsai@gmail.com to inquire. We can also reschedule for an individual workshop instead of canceling!
