Bonsai & Cheers: The Ultimate Social Bonsai Experience

One of our flagship events is Bonsai & Cheers, a unique blend of bonsai workshops and social gatherings. These events are all about enjoying the process of creating your very own bonsai tree in a relaxed, fun environment. Whether you’re grabbing a drink with friends or meeting new people, Bonsai & Cheers offers the perfect setting to unwind and get creative.

Each Bonsai & Cheers event features a different type of bonsai tree, ranging from junipers and pomegranates to flowering varieties like the Grewia (Lavender Star). We provide all the materials you’ll need, including a healthy bonsai tree, bonsai shears, soil, and a pot. Our expert instructors will guide you through the entire process, from pruning and wiring to shaping and caring for your bonsai. And the best part? You get to take your bonsai creation home with you, along with the skills to nurture it for years to come.

We host Bonsai & Cheers events at some of the most popular local venues, including breweries like Ivanhoe Park Brewing and distilleries like Forward/Slash Distillery. These locations offer a laid-back atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink or two while working on your bonsai. Plus, our partnership with local businesses means you’re supporting the community with every ticket purchase.

Bonsai & BBQ: A Tasty Twist on Bonsai Classes

For those who love good food as much as they love plants, our Bonsai & BBQ events are a must-attend. We’ve teamed up with Smoke and Donuts BBQ to bring you a delicious and interactive bonsai experience. These classes combine the art of bonsai with the mouthwatering flavors of BBQ, creating a unique event that’s perfect for plant lovers and foodies alike.

During a Bonsai & BBQ class, you’ll learn how to create a beautiful bonsai tree—like the Jade Bonsai, which is perfect for indoor growth—while enjoying a delicious meal. Each ticket includes a meal, a soft drink, and all the materials needed to craft your own bonsai. The event is a great way to relax, learn something new, and enjoy great food in a casual setting.

Sangria & Succulents: A Creative Way to Unwind

If you’re looking for a more laid-back, creative experience, our Sangria & Succulents events might be just what you need. These workshops focus on building your own succulent fairy garden, a fun and easy way to get hands-on with plants. Succulents are some of the easiest plants to care for, making them perfect for both beginners and experienced gardeners.

At Sangria & Succulents, we provide everything you need to create a stunning fairy garden, including a variety of succulents, figurines, and all the tools necessary to bring your garden to life. The event is held at The Drake Kitchen & Bar, where you can enjoy two complimentary sangrias or mimosas while you work on your project. It’s a fantastic way to relax, get creative, and take home a beautiful piece of living art.

Supporting the Community: Our Partnership with Doglando Foundation

We believe in giving back to the community, and one of the ways we do this is through our partnership with the Doglando Foundation. This incredible organization is dedicated to enriching the lives of dogs and their human companions. Their Puppy B.R.E.A.T.H. program rescues pregnant dogs and unwanted puppies, providing them with a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow, socialize, and thrive.

We’re proud to host special Bonsai & Pups events, where all ticket sales are donated to the Doglando Foundation. These events offer participants the chance to create a beautiful bonsai tree while playing with adorable puppies, knowing that their contributions are going to a great cause.
