Now vacant after the State of New Jersey acquired its land to construct Interstate 78, the tavern's legacy endures. For those intrigued by its history, Hank Bonnell, an eighth-generation direct descendant of the tavern's original innkeeper, will share the vibrant story of the tavern and the patriots who frequented it.
