Bodily Fluids is a charged, unflinching examination of desire, transgression, and the shifting boundaries of selfhood. Moving through sex, memory, digital detritus, and fleeting intimacies, Lukowski crafts poems that are both vulnerable and wry, attuned to the body’s betrayals and pleasures. With cinematic clarity and a sharp lyricism, the collection navigates the intersections of queerness, masculinity, and transformation, refusing easy narratives of identity or resolution. Bodily Fluids pulses with restless energy, mapping the residue of encounters, the weight of longing, and the quiet violences of simply existing.

'A very strong debut collection which brilliantly carries forward poetry and its queer subjects into places it may never have been before' — Andrew McMillan

'Lukowski's poems sing in this beautiful collection that centres the queer, trans masc body as a site of ecstatic sensation and relation, of yearning and indifference, and of radical hope' — Peter Scalpello

'I love these gorgeously detailed poems that are brimming with dark humour and libido. They boldly explore desires that are often left unspoken, silenced, and repressed.' — Golnoosh Nour

'I was left marvelling at a collection that manages to be so much at once - beautiful, surprising and violently alive' — Hannah Copley
