Overview

SWPA Starts 2026 Right- Learning how sexuality, embodiment and relationships intersect with Heather Mireles Murphy, MA, MBA, LPC-S

By the end of this training, participants will be able to do the following:

  • Identify key ways that eating disorders disrupt sexual intimacy and relational functioning
  • Recognize queer- and trans- specific factors contributing to ED symptomology affecting sexuality
  • Apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive interventions to support sexual and relational healing
  • Integrate embodiment-focused strategies when treating clients navigating EDs + intimacy concerns

After Heather’s presentation, we will spend time checking in with attendees about how we can support each other in the coming year.
