By the end of this training, participants will be able to do the following:
- Identify key ways that eating disorders disrupt sexual intimacy and relational functioning
- Recognize queer- and trans- specific factors contributing to ED symptomology affecting sexuality
- Apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive interventions to support sexual and relational healing
- Integrate embodiment-focused strategies when treating clients navigating EDs + intimacy concerns
After Heather’s presentation, we will spend time checking in with attendees about how we can support each other in the coming year.
