Prepare for an unforgettable night at the Nashville Jazz Workshop as guitarist, composer, and multi-Grammy®-winning Snarky Puppy member Bob Lanzetti takes the stage with two master musicians: drummer Jordan Perlson and bassist Viktor Krauss. This trio brings together extraordinary versatility and deep musical intuition and chemistry that you won’t want to miss!

Bob Lanzetti has carved out a singular path as one of today’s most creative and expressive voices on the guitar. A Brooklyn-based musician and founding member of Snarky Puppy, Bob has performed in more than 40 countries and contributed as a guitarist, composer, and arranger to every one of the group’s acclaimed recordings—earning five GRAMMY Awards along the way. Raised on the Jersey Shore and shaped by mentors like Chris Buono, David “Fuze” Fiuczynski, and Vic Juris, Bob later deepened his craft at the University of North Texas, where he also became immersed in the rich R&B and gospel scenes of the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Since moving to Brooklyn, Bob has become a first-call session guitarist, recording and performing with artists across genres: from Tommy Sims, Jeff Coffin, and Brad Shepik to Becca Stevens, Ghost-Note, Bokanté, Bilal, and Cory Henry. His own music—heard in his critically praised album Whose Feet Are These That Are Walking and his 2023 trio project Brock, Lanzetti, Ogawa—shows a composer equally fluent in groove, texture, melodic invention, and cinematic atmosphere. His score for the silent classic Nosferatu demonstrated yet another facet of his creativity, and his dedication to teaching, including work through Carnegie Hall outreach programs, speaks to the depth and generosity of his artistry.

Sharing the stage is drummer Jordan Perlson, one of the most versatile and imaginative percussionists on today’s scene. Jordan has performed on more than 100 recordings and toured internationally with boundary-pushing artists including Becca Stevens, Kaki King, Hiromi, Seamus Blake, and David Liebman. Since relocating to Nashville, he has become an essential presence in the city’s creative community, known for a rare blend of precision, sensitivity, and adventurous spirit.

Rounding out the trio is bassist Viktor Krauss, whose résumé spans over 500 recording credits and collaborations with some of the most respected musicians of the last three decades. Equally at home in jazz, Americana, and cinematic soundscapes, Viktor has worked with artists such as Lyle Lovett, Bill Frisell, James Taylor, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and Sheryl Crow. His bass playing is immediately recognizable for its warm tone, lyrical phrasing, and harmonic depth—bringing both weight and elegance to any musical setting.

Together, Bob Lanzetti, Jordan Perlson, and Viktor Krauss form a trio of rare synergy and sophistication. Expect inspired improvisation, deep grooves, spontaneous interplay, and a musical journey that moves effortlessly between genres.
