Looking for a partner can be horrifically painful. But playing board games is always awesome. So what if you combined the two? Over the course of the night you’ll meet fun single people and discover new games.
Each round, your dashing host will teach you how to play a new game, then give you a chance to play it with a new group of people. You'll play classics you love and discover games you've never even heard of. All while in a great establishment with yummy food and plenty of delicious options on tap.
At the end of the night, just scan our QR code and enter the name of anyone you met you want to go out with. If they put your name, it's a match, and we'll make sure you get each other's e-mail address so you can set up a time to go out. Don't feel any romantic connections? At our event, you'll also be able to match as friends.
Before you decide to buy tickets, a few basics we should cover:
1) This event is for men & women, ages 25-39.
2) Refunds are only available to those who cancel with more than 48 hours' notice, in order to make sure we have enough time to find a replacement for you and keep the event well-populated. (Exceptions will be made for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis). After that, we're blowing the money from your ticket sale on something awesome and nonrefundable.
3) If attendance numbers are looking especially low for this event, we may have to cancel and issue everyone a full refund.
4) How many games we have and which ones we use will be based in part on how many people attend, so we can't tell you for sure what we'll have right now. But the goal is for all of them to be fun, light, easy-to-learn games. Selection will include games from both the something-you-have-played-before category and the something-you-haven't-played-before category. The games are also chosen because they often tend to spark conversation and leave room for chatting with new people as you play. All games will be group games, meaning you'll get a chance to meet a handful of people with each new round.
