Our best intentions drive our work, yet we are lucky to secure the time necessary to carve out or update our strategies - let alone a strategic plan - to direct our efforts. Planning is adaptable and can manifest in a variety of ways, but what happens after the plan is made? How do we make our intentions actionable?
During this session, presenter Sarah Colomé of Collective Futures will provide a deep dive into the practical applications of strategic planning. Participants will be invited to explore common hindrances to strategic plan actualization, clear pathways for application, and strategies for embedding their strategic plan into the daily operations of their organization and individual roles. Bolstered by the framework provided in this session, attendees will leave better able to translate a strategic plan into accessible, tangible, and measurable actions.
After attending this session, participants will:
- Identify the role of a strategic plan in an organization's success
- Recall methods for applying a strategic plan through a variety of operational avenues
- Apply takeaways through a provided framework
