Curious about serving on a board, but not sure where to start? Join us for Board 101, a special Lunch & Learn designed to open your eyes to the wide variety of boards that exist in our community and why young professionals like you are NEEDED at the table.

You’ll hear directly from a panel of YP members who currently serve on different types of boards and committees such as nonprofit, civic, advisory, and more.

They’ll share their personal experiences, what they’ve learned along the way, and how board service has helped them grow as leaders and community members.

Who you'll hear from:

Panelists :

Cooper Reaves, Special Projects Manager for the City of Johnson City & Blue Plumb Foundation Incoming President

Lexi Petrack, Recovery Resources Nonprofit Board Member & Sigma Kappa Advisor

Alec Castro, Member of the Connect Downtown & Public Arts City Volunteer Boards
