About this event

Community • City & Town

Join us for an inspiring evening at one of Lowell’s most beloved historic venues, The Worthen House Café, as we kickstart a bold new chapter in the restoration of the Smith Baker Center. This special cocktail hour fundraiser, complete with fall-inspired hors d’oeuvres and raffles (including original artwork by local artists, and more) marks the public launch of the next step in our efforts to bring the Lowell Center for the Arts to life.

The Lowell Center for the Arts (LCA) is a transformative project that will restore the historic Smith Baker Center into a vibrant hub for arts, culture, education, and innovation. From performance halls and classrooms to co-working spaces, shared use kitchens and community programming, the LCA will breathe new life into a historic landmark while serving as a creative and economic engine for all of Greater Lowell.

This evening is your opportunity to be a founding part of that future. Whether you’re an artist, educator, neighbor, business leader, longtime Lowellian, or a transplant your support can help us turn blueprints into reality.

$75 Admission, includes:

A variety of fall inspired hors d’oeuvres (crafted by Chef Chris DeMato), cash bar, and a chance to enter to win local raffle items, original art, and more.

Let’s celebrate the next chapter of Lowell’s cultural legacy, together.
