Blue Zones Project Palm Springs Flourish: An Edible Garden Workshop Part 2
Overview
Join us for the second round of Flourish, a 6-week, edible garden workshop series designed to connect people, purpose, and place. In partnership with Blue Zones Project Palm Springs and Oswit Land Trust, the series blends the core principles of the Blue Zones Power 9®—natural movement, eating wisely, and creating a sense of belonging—with Oswit Land Trust’s mission to restore and protect the vital wildlife corridor of the Prescott Preserve.
During this interactive workshop, participants will help plant and cultivate a native garden that supports local flora and fauna. Guided by conservation experts, you’ll learn practical ways to incorporate sustainable, desert-friendly gardening practices while contributing to the long-term health of our shared landscape.
Participants will be provided with plants, soil, and gardening tools, and on the first day a complimentary Blue Zones Project water bottle and healthy snack. A hat, gardening gloves, and sunscreen is highly recommended. Participation is required for all Wednesday events, featuring:
