About this event

The Blue Boy - The Debut Exhibition of Jackson Rutherford

5 Years in the Making, 4 Days Only.

Step inside a world where boyhood, masculinity and queerness are reimagined through discarded factory wood, painting, poetry and film.

Blue Boy is not just an exhibition, it’s a chance to step inside a world.

At it’s core, the work is a prism, breaking the story of Australian boyhood into it’s primary colours, a bold, immersive environment that confronts the stories we inherit, the fragility of our bodies, and the systems which seek to expend them.

Immerse yourself in an exhibition of waste reimagined into art, and history transformed ready for a new era.

Opening: Friday Sept 12 - Doors: 6pm Event: 7pm

12 - 4pm Sat, Sun, Mon ONLY
