2 - 3 PM

Participants will carve their own designs or transfer pre-made motifs onto small rubber blocks, then use water-based ink and learn simple stamping techniques to print and repeat their designs, exploring how patterns can transform paper and fabric into unique works of art.

No prior drawing skills are needed.

Sara Hassan Khani is an Iranian-born multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Long Beach, California, whose work spans drawing, painting and printmaking. Her practice explores memory, displacement and the power dynamics embedded in fragile architectural spaces. Using a layered visual language that blends drawing, collage, photography and printmaking, she creates dreamlike works where memory and structure coexist. Exhibited internationally, her art examines the human cost of broken systems while highlighting the overlooked spaces where resilience emerges.
