Block Printing Textiles with Carla Bartow
In this workshop, each student will go through the process of transferring their image onto linoleum, carving a linoleum stamp and printing the stamp on fabric, using a fabric formulated block printing ink. No prior experience needed, all materials will be provided. Students will come away from this class with all of the knowledge that they need to block print at home.

About the Instructor
Carla Bartow began block printing regularly while in her undergraduate studies. For many years, her commercial illustration work was solely digitally layered block prints. Carla draws her inspiration from nature and animals, and tries to reflect whimsy and joy through her work
