In this creative, hands-on workshop, you'll carve your own design onto linoleum blocks and print them in color onto cards. We'll mix and match blocks, so by the end, you'll have a one-of-a-kind set of postcards — some your own, others made in collaboration. You'll take home your carved block for future printing and a stack of art to frame, keep, or send to friends. Come get creative and meet others — no experience needed! Your ticket includes one drink from the bar.
Sharon Y. Li, originally from Houston, Texas, is a Brooklyn-based artist with a B.A. from Yale University. Her practice is primarily in oil painting and charcoal drawing and she teaches art workshops across New York on everything from figure drawing to block printing. Her work is currently on view at Flowing Space Gallery in Manhattan.
