Overview
WORKSHOP AGENDA
Whether you’re just starting out or an expert looking for a fun project, this workshop is for you! Join the digital dabblers and make your very own 3D render in Blender!
We’ll cover:
- We will start by going through an overview of Blender, the UI, settings/preferences, and leave time for open Q/A (20 mins)
- Next we will begin modeling a coffee mug (or similar 3d object)! (30-45 mins), this will cover the basics of 3d modeling such as: extruding, bevel tool, loop cuts, tips/tricks for selecting and handling a 3d mesh.
- After this we will add some style to your 3d object! (30 mins), covering the basics of setting up shader nodes and talking conceptually about rendering.
- Last, we will render our objects and compare results in two render engines (Cycles and Eevee).
But that’s not all – we’ll also have plenty of coffee, tea & snacks on hand to keep you energized and focused throughout the workshop.
