Black Pepper Food Festival was created in 2019 to celebrate Black culture, cuisine, and most importantly provide an opportunity for African-American restaurateurs to increase exposure and expand their business as well as a sustainable event for our community to circulate our Black Dollar and practice group economics.
Black Pepper food festival is intended to be a key ingredient | to black economic growth and exposure for black owned restaurants.
Black Pepper is the first food festival of its kind in South Florida that was solely created to celebrate and support Black Owned Restaurants and Food Trucks.
------------------
Black Pepper Food Festival is a full day festival merging African Diaspora cuisine, music, art and overall cultural resonance.
Adding to the aesthetic of the communal celebration, there will be several activations on the Main Stage as well as Chaplin Hospitality Classrooms!

ABOUT BLACK PEPPER FOOD FESTIVAL:
Founded in 2019 by Alexis Brown & Joel Franklin Black Pepper Food Festival was cultivated to feature South Florida's black-owned restaurants, chefs, and small businesses. Our mission is to curate a culturally resonant experience that will increase awareness for restaurants by heightening exposure and building their economic reach.
We seek to empower our communities by matriculating wealth with our cultural buying power.
Black Pepper Food Festival intends to create a vibrant community amongst restaurant owners, chefs, and foodies in South Florida. By growing this community, we hope to serve as a resource that alters negative narratives, stigma, and eliminating adversities various owners face.
