About this Event

Join this training to learn how to make websites that are inclusive for people with disabilities.

Digital accessibility is the practice of making the web and apps accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. In this training, the presenters will provide a foundation for accessibility, real-world examples of user personas with disabilities, and how to begin designing and coding for digital inclusivity. Attendees will walk away with a foundation for accessibility, the empathy of what it's like to be a user with a disability, and tools and resources for getting started so they can begin to design and build accessible code.

Target audience and age range of participants: This event is suitable for ages 14-18.
