About this event

In the Black community, breastfeeding rates are lower compared to other communities. To raise awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding, Black Breastfeeding Week will be celebrated from August 25th to 31st, 2025.

📅 Monday, August 25 – Kick-Off & Welcome (Virtual, Zoom)

Start the week with an inspiring online gathering that introduces the theme, honors community partners, and sets the tone for learning and collective empowerment.

A bold conversation featuring Black maternal health experts, lactation professionals, doulas, and parents discussing:
