Tuesday, February 23 @ 12:30pm
Join AADHum scholar Brienne Adams (UMD) in conversation with Elizabeth Alexander (Cornell), Rianna Walcott (Kings College), and Christin Washington (UMD). They will focus on the challenges and opportunities of engaging #BlackDH and other kinds of experimental scholarship projects as part of doctoral study, in a conversation moderated by former AADHum scholar Dr. Kimberly Bain (Tufts).
Immediately following, we will also be joined by scholars from across the faculty spectrum, who will reflect on strategies for integrating digital approaches across their different institutional lifeworlds. This roundtable discussion will feature AADHum scholars Dr. Merle Collins (UMD) and Dr. Amaka Okechukwu (George Mason), and also Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities and Co-PI for Enslaved.org, Dr. Daryle Williams (UMD). This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Schuyler Esprit.
