Welcome to the Birthing Together Workshop!
Date: Saturday, February 1st 2025
Location & Registration: Peacebank Yoga
A fun and engaging 3 hour workshop that includes the birthing person and their partner or support person. This interactive workshop is designed to educate and empower the partner to be supportive and helpful during labor, while also deeply connecting to their partner and their baby throughout the process. Together we will learn:
- Labor comfort measures and supportive positions for any way you birth your child, whether that is unmedicated, with an epidural, or via Cesarean section.
- Massage techniques to stay connected throughout labor, relax and relieve tension, and encourage contractions.
- Ways to support both partners in connecting to their baby and to each other during labor, birth, and the fourth trimester.
Expect to be up and moving around for a hands-on, kinesthetic experience. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring one yoga mat and one birth/exercise ball per couple.
***Register through Peacebank Yoga Studio by visiting their Workshops & Events page and scrolling down until you find Birthing Together. This group workshop is offered the first Saturday of every month and is recommended for those in their third trimester.

You can find a used birth or exercise ball on Facebook Marketplace or Nextdoor, just be sure that it is the right size for your height! A 65cm size works for most heights, and a 70 cm ball is recommended for those who are 5'9" or taller. If you are under 5'2" a 55cm ball might work for you!
There is metered street parking available.
