A General overview of pregnancy, labor, and birth. This class will provide expectant parents with a general overview of topics:
- Exploring anatomy, signs of labor and timing contractions
- Identifying the different stages and phases of labor
- Overview of comfort measures and relaxation techniques for birth
- Reviewing pain management options and non-pharmacological pain relief methods
- Reviewing interventions during labor and cesarean birth
- Addressing postpartum recovery and care of the birthing person and newborn.
Children are welcome to attend but child care will not be provided. If bringing any children, please get a ticket for them as well.
