While everyone is welcome, these talks are more focused on scientific knowledge and research that younger kids might find boring.

Do I have to stay the full two hours?

We recommend staying the entire time to get the full experience! You might miss out on exciting opportunities to spot wildlife or ask questions.

This event requires at small donation fee when you register online! Donations go directly to the Preserve and our efforts to continue to keep this space green as can be.

Ever wondered about all the bird boxes across Blue Heron? Come learn all about them while enjoying the beautiful views of the Preserve on October 11th! Mark Graves, a professor of biology at GSU Perimeter, will be your guide into the world of birds and their nesting habits. Adults and families welcome!

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
