The first workshop in our Second Saturday Safari outdoor education series!

Ever wondered about all the bird boxes across Blue Heron? Come learn all about them while enjoying the beautiful views of the Preserve on October 11th! Mark Graves, a professor of biology at GSU Perimeter, will be your guide into the world of birds and their nesting habits. Adults and families welcome!

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore the preserve on a guided walk
  • Learn all about the Brown-headed Nuthatch, Eastern Bluebird, and the House Wren
  • Get behind the scene knowledge on research happening around the Preserve
