What do I need to bring?

Warm layers, gloves, boots and warm socks. We will be giving you a beefy Berghaus waterproof shell to borrow (you'll give us your size at registration) We will also be providing you with binoculars!

How long will we be out there?

Nathan will be guiding us around the refuge until 2PM at the latest. You are not committed to staying for the entire time. Once we return to the trailhead we'll have hot tea and snacks.

Birding with Berghaus

Overview

Come birding with us and Berghaus in the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. We've got a parka and a pair of binoculars waiting for you!

Windthrow is teaming up with legendary English outfitter Berghaus for a fun day of birding in (likely) crappy weather. Meet us at the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge at 10AM on Saturday, December 13th. We'll have a fully waterproof Berghaus Trango jacket for you to borrow, and a pair of binoculars to keep....along with some fun Bergaus merch :)

After being guided around the basin by our expert birder Nathan Bombardier we'll reconvene at the trailhead with hot tea and snacks.
