Birding for Beginners Guided Hike

Calling all birders or want to be birders! Now is your chance to learn more about Florida birds with a guided hike at Tiger Creek.

Connecting with Conservation Weekends (CwC) introduces guests to TNC conservation priorities with a free monthly activity. This month’s tour focuses on birds. Learn all about birding. We will provide binoculars and other introductory tools for birding. We will discuss the importance of birds at Tiger Creek, Florida, and around the world.

This is an introductory tour, no previous experience necessary.

Please Consider:

• All guests will be required to sign a waiver onsite
• All youth (ages 12-17) must be accompanied by a legal guardian

• All guests must be able to climb steep steps to board the buggy.
• Dress Code: Guests should wear bug/sun protective clothing. Closed toed shoes, long pants, hat, and sunglasses are recommended.
• Parking: free onsite at office (1 ADA van accessible)
• Restroom: 2 non-gendered (1 ADA compliant) at office Guests must use restroom prior to boarding buggy
• Water: Cooler for water refills provided
• Binoculars, sunscreen and bug spray available for use

• All guests must be able to hike in sugar sand and stand for the duration of the tour.
• Two track chairs are available to use during the guided tour with advanced registration. Track chairs are reserved for those with mobility limitations.
