Join Park Environmental Educator Joe Zarzhevsky for a special after-school adventure to kick off Thanksgiving break! We’ll head out on a guided 0.8 mile hike, to discover the different types of bird and their nests found throughout Rockefeller State Park Preserve. Learning how our feathered friends build their nurseries from twigs, moss, and more. Afterwards, we’ll cozy up indoors to craft our own creative nests to take home! Intended for grades K-5, Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Binoculars provided.
