Join natural science illustrator Liz Clayton Fuller for a live repeat of this popular online workshop! Liz will guide you through the basics of bird anatomy and show you ways to apply that knowledge to your practice of drawing birds.

Understanding your subject fully allows you to depict it accurately. Improve your drawing by gaining insight into the foundation of bird anatomy–bones, muscles, and feather structure. No need to have taken Liz’s prior workshops to join in on this topic.

Liz's workshop will be live on Zoom. She'll be demonstrating different drawing techniques while you follow along.

This workshop will be recorded and sent to all participants within a week of the event. This recording will be available for viewing for three months after the workshop.

Materials and Instructions:

You will be asked to print a visual aid prior to the start of the workshop. If you do not have access to a printer, you may view these files digitally during the workshop.

Minimum of 10 blank pieces of paper - or a sketchbook with as many blank pages!
Pencils (2): A mechanical pencil will work, but traditional pencils work beautifully too.
Pencil sharpener if you have one (we will be doing a lot of drawing!)
Eraser
If you prefer, you can use a pen for some of these exercises.

Additional supplies: These supplies are not necessary for the completion of the workshop, but will be useful if you already have these items or want to purchase them!

Kneaded eraser
Staedtler Mars Plastic Eraser (or similar)
General Factis Mechanical Eraser (or similar)
A notepad if you wish to take some written notes!

Closed captioning will be available during the workshop.
