BIPOC Centering Class: Healing in Community

BIPOC Centering Class: Healing in Community

By Mama Bird

Overview

A nonprofit program for Black, Indigenous, and families of color to prepare for birth, postpartum, and beyond.

The postpartum journey is both tender and powerful. Guided by a licensed mental health therapist, this session centers emotional wellbeing and cultural healing practices for the fourth trimester. Families will explore postpartum traditions, create personalized care maps, and learn tools for navigating baby blues, anxiety, and the weight of systemic stress. Here, healing is collective: we rest, restore, and remember that joy and support are our birthrights.
