About this event

This event will be part wildlife walk, part exploring smart phone apps and other sources of ID help, to push your wildlife watching to the next level.  We will also explore the iRecord App that allows you to easily submit your sightings to the right people – NESBReC.  This will allow us to build up a picture of the wonderful wildlife using Forres Friends of Woods and Fields' land and add to the local and national picture of wildlife populations.

We will meet at the Community Garden in Chapelton Field at 10am for a short talk before heading out for a walk around FFWF land and to practice identifying and recording what we see before ending the walk back at the garden.

It would be helpful if those with smartphones could download the iRecord App and ObsIdentify App prior to coming along – these are both free apps and really useful!

A map of the community garden can be found here: https://www.forresfriends.com/the-land
