Billy Treacy & The Scope Based in Dublin City, Ireland. Billy Treacy & The Scope play a mixture of Irish Folk & Trad featuring new original songs as well as old time classics and of course traditional tunes (Jigs & Reels). They are all full time musicians and can be found playing in and around the Temple Bar area of Dublin during the week playing for tourists or hosting their own Traditional Sessions in different venues (McNeills of Howth, The Cobblestone, The Shelbourne Hotel) Currently they are recording new tracks for another album and have taken to the road at weekends to travel the country and play in Ireland's Iconic Pubs. Together and individually they have played with and shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Irish Music at various festivals across Europe. Billy Treacy Singer/Songwriter Guitar & Vocals Billy is a Folk singer/songwriter who is a regular on the scene around Dublin. His collection of new Folk songs about Dublin & its characters have drawn praise from many. Ride on Billy.” Christy Moore Dave McNevin - BANJO / MANDOLIN Dublin-born Dave McNevin is one of Ireland's top banjo and mandolin players, a former child prodigy and world champion he has performed all over the world and in every U.S. State excluding Hawaii & Alaska. Dave has played with all the legends of Irish Folk and Traditional music past and present and was a member of Stockton's Wing for over 10 years. Michelle O’Brien - FIDDLE Michelle O’Brien is a highly respected fiddle player from County Clare, known for her extraordinary skill and deep passion for traditional Irish music. A proud recipient of the All-Ireland Fiddle title, Michelle’s musical journey has been significantly shaped by the tutelage of the legendary fiddler Tommy Peoples. Under his guidance, Michelle honed her craft, developing a style that blends technical precision with expressive, emotive playing. With a career that has seen her perform alongside some of the most esteemed names in Irish music, Michelle O’Brien continues to be a prominent figure in the preservation and evolution of Irish fiddle music.
