On behalf of The Music Therapy Spot and Sophie’s Place, we welcome you to Big Potential in Every Beat: Empowering Kids Through Music!

In this two-day, online symposium featuring numerous topic experts across the US, we look forward to exploring a variety of topics such as:

Music therapy in pediatric behavioral settings
Music therapy in special education
Building rapport in pediatric medical settings

Together, The Music Therapy Spot and Sophie’s Place look forward to providing two days full of opportunities to learn best practice in music therapy when working children, and how to navigate the complicated medical and IEP systems to ensure our clients receive the best standard of care.

Note. Certificates of attendance will be provided to attendees, as requested.

We aim to foster an environment of learning and exploration that is rooted in interdependence and community care. We believe that learning does not happen in a vacuum and the best way to become the people and therapists we want to be is through the process of learning from and with one another.
