Big Blue Door First Friday Improv

First Friday Improv is 90-minutes of Charlottesville’s smartest, funniest comedy with the final performance of our fall run! Host team, On Air, creates improvised radio shows on subjects you suggest, and special guests Big Head Fight, creates improvised events and spins out to follow the characters before and after.

The first Fridays of every month are McGuffey Art Center’s official art openings, featuring new monthly exhibits in the galleries all over the building, and whenever possible Big Blue Door joins the festivities with performances in our studio! The art downstairs is free and the show upstairs at 7pm is only $10!
