The Beaufort Film Society is pleased to present the 20th annual Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF) February 17-22, 2026.
Our 2025 festival welcomed thousands of attendees from several different countires to Beaufort County for 6 fun filled days of movie watching and star gazing, all with the beautiful backdrop of the marshes of the Carolina Sea Islands. Come experience what has been called by many attendees as well as filmmakers as the "best little film festival in the southeast." As of May 2025, BIFF was ranked by filmmakers as one of the TOP 100 Best Reviewed Film Festivals by FilmFreeway.
The Opening Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17 th .Venue: USCB, Center for the Arts located at 805 Carteret Street, downtown Beaufort.

All film screenings will be held on Feb. 18, 19, 20 and 21st at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, Center for the Arts located at 805 Carteret Street, downtown Beaufort.
Awards will be presented in the categories of Feature Film, Documentary - Short and Feature Length, Animation, Short Films, Student Films, Screenplays, Best Muscial score and Best Ensemble Cast. We will also have the Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor categories and the ever-popular audience voted awards -Audience Choice and Best Comedy. We are also planning to showcase our Duty and Honor Category. This category will stand alone from the other categories in that reflect positively on the service and sacrifices of our United States Military, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue personnel and other First Responders and their families.
The Pre-Awards Champagne Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22nd at University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Arts located at 805 Carteret Street, Downtown Beaufort. Time: 4:00 pm NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR FOR THE AWARDS CEREMONY. The All Events ticket includes admission to the Awards Ceremony.
