Learn how to ride your bike in traffic Safely and with confidence!
Taught by league certified instructors, Traffic Skills 101 combines classroom activities and on-road practice to instruct you in the principles of riding on the road and overcoming any fear of riding in traffic.
Learn:
-to navigate traffic
-repair a flat tire
-techniques to avoid a crash
-NJ bike laws
To participate, you must:
-be at least 14
-know how to ride a bike
-bring a safe and functional bike and properly fitted helmet
This class meets in the basement meeting room at the Morristown Library in the morning and at the Visiting Nurse Association Parking Lot nearby in the afternoon. Parking is available all day for free at the Visiting Nurse Association parking lot, which is a short walk to the library. Another class is taking place in the morning in the VNA parking lot, so bikes should be fine if left on car rack. There is also on street metered parking near the library.
